World Wrestling Entertainment, the most popular pro-wrestling promotion, will return to India after 13 years with two live shows in New Delhi on 15th and 16th January, 2016 featuring company's biggest stars like John Cena, Dean Ambrose, Cesaro, Shemaus, Big Show and Ryback and many other superstars.
WWE superstar Daniel Bryan was in Delhi on Tuesday for the announcement. A limited number of tickets will be available through a pre-sale from Wednesday, 4 November at 1pm IST through Saturday, 7 November at 11:59pm. Remaining tickets will go on-sale beginning Tuesday, 10 November at 12pm IST. All tickets will be available online at www.in.bookmyshow.com. Ticket prices start at INR 1,699.
"WWE is delighted to return to India to bring its fans energetic, larger-than-life, live entertainment," said WWE President International, Gerrit Meier. "Fans can expect to see the same non-stop action and family fun that they know and love from watching WWE programming, including WWE Raw and WWE SmackDown on Ten Sports Network."
The last time WWE tour on a grand scale was in 2002 when he promotion embarked on three-city live event tour in November featuring wrestlers like Rob Van Dam, Booker T, Gold Dust and Triple H.
