The last time WWE tour on a grand scale was in 2002 when he promotion embarked on three-city live event tour in November featuring wrestlers like Rob Van Dam, Booker T, Gold Dust and Triple H.

Having beaten her last three opponents in a combined 64 seconds, Ronda Rousey's record now stands at a sparkling 12-0. Even Miesha Tate, who lost to Rousey on two occasions, has been imploring her fellow fighters to step their game up to prove that it's not a "one-woman division." Basically, it's starting to get embarrassing.

Rousey has proven time and time again that she's a step ahead of her competition, picking apart the likes of Alexis Davis and Cat Zingano with ease. Cris Cyborg talks a big game, but so did Bethe Correia before she got knocked out in 34 seconds. Whenever someone thinks they're destined to dethrone Rousey, she armbars them into submission, or decks them in the face faster than you can say "Money Mayweather."

For that reason, WWE superstar (and former UFC Heavyweight champ) Brock Lesnar can't help but state the obvious – it's about time Rousey picked on someone her own size.

"I think she's a super athlete in a weak division. I really do," Lesnar told ESPN. "She is a man amongst women in the women's division. I take my hat off to her."

Lesnar isn't discrediting what Rousey has achieved. (Also, comparing her to a man isn't a great look, dude.) He marveled over her ability to juggle everything, from starring in movies to writing a book to kicking ass all over the world. But it's true – with only three of her fights lasting longer than a minute there's clearly an imbalance in the sport, and it doesn't appear to be changing anytime soon.

"I'm not taking any talent away from her at all," Lesnar added. "But I think she's a super beast – a super freak in the women's division."

It's not Rousey's fault that she's far better than everyone else, nor should she apologize for smoking the competition. We just shouldn't expect anyone to put up a legitimate fight anytime soon, and that includes Cyborg. As for Lesnar, well, let's just hope he can get through his SummerSlam match against the Undertaker without getting kicked in the nuts.

Singh is Bling marks the return of all things Punjabi. There's Akshay Kumar in a turban, and he leaves no opportunity to break into a dance. There's an ensemble cast of turbaned men of different shapes and sizes, there's the signature bhangra background score, and the decibel levels are a mostly higher than usual Hindi films.

Oh, wait, and there's a lioness. Yes, a scene from the trailer reveals Kumar walking up a slop with a lioness on a leash. We're quite surprised he was willing to take his love for animals to the next level, and we hope the dog from It's Entertainment isn't feeling left out.
The trailer of Singh is Bling looks like a series of jokes patched together, and also gives you a massive Singh is King hangover.
The film takes the audience around pockets of Punjab, introducing us to several characters, including Akshay's family and his love interest, Amy Jackson, who has a blink-and-miss cameo (but in a bikini, no less) in the trailer.
We aren't told much about the story in the three minute long trailer. This is Prabhudeva's first original directorial venture that isn't a remake of a previous south Indian film. Singh is Bling releases on 2 October.

Owens was interviewed by Noelle Foley for Ringside Collectibles at the San Diego Comic Con. They discussed a few topics, but the most interesting part involved next year’s WrestleMania. It’s no surprise that Lesnar’s name would come up because Owens is already feuding with John Cena, so Lesnar would be the next logical choice as far as big names go.
Next year’s WrestleMania will be the first one for Owens, who is a rising star in WWE that has secured a spot as a top heel. Since Lesnar is in a face role, it’s very possible that the match could happen at some point in the near future, although there’s no lock that it would be at WrestleMania.

Uttarakhand became the latest state to ban Maggi noodles after Delhi while two more states will take a decision on Thursday, deepening a crisis for manufacturer Nestle India amid mounting food-safety fears across the nation.

Uttarakhand’s decision came after the Delhi government banned the popular noodles brand for 15 days on Wednesday, sending Nestle India’s shares crashing at the benchmark Bombay Stock Exchange.

The debate over the popular noodles brand in the country – which has drawn in Bollywood stars into the controversy -- broke after food safety inspectors in Uttar Pradesh ordered recall of a 200,000-pack batch of noodles following spot checks which showed elevated levels of monosodium glutamate (MSG), a flavour enhancer, and lead 17 times above the permissible limit.

PTI quoted Uttarakhand principal secretary health Om Prakash as saying that the decision to ban the sale of Maggi was taken on Wednesday night in public interest.

“We are informing all the 13 districts about the decision (to ban) Maggi. We are also sending them a formal order today,” BR Tamta, joint commissioner, Food Safety and Standards Authority (FSSA) told Hindustan Times on Thursday.
Though officials yet to get results of laboratory tests on fresh Maggi samples,  Tamta said “a sample collected early this year from Pauri was found to contain (high) MSG and lead contents”.

Jharkhand and Gujarat are also likely to take a decision on Thursday whether to ban Maggi while Maharashtra has put off its decision to Friday after collecting fresh samples from several cities for laboratory tests.

The health ministers of the two BJP-ruled states had said on Wednesday that results of laboratory test on Maggi samples are expected by Thursday and decisions would be taken as soon as they are analysed.

According to medical experts, excessive intake of lead can cause damage to the kidneys, bones and nervous system. It is particularly harmful to children and can cause learning disorders. MSG, on the other hand, can damage the nervous system with long-term use.

The UP food safety and drug administration (FSDA) last week filed a criminal complaint against Nestle India besides dragging actors Amitabh Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit and Preity Zinta separately for promoting the ‘two-minute’ noodles brand.

The Indian Army also issued an advisory on Wednesday asking its personnel not to consume Maggi noodles and directed military canteens to set aside the existing stock of the popular snack until further orders.

The order covers over 1000 army canteens and the complete 13-lakh strong army.

“The advisory is effective till further order,” an army official said.

Several states have either ordered the withdrawal of the popular snack from shops or ordered the testing of samples, prior to taking action against Nestle, whose shares slumped over 10% amid widespread panic over safety standards.

The benchmark Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) has asked Nestle to clarify reports on Maggi samples failing safety test in Delhi.

The Delhi ban announced during market hours on Wednesday led to a 9% drop in Nestle India shares on the BSE, extending the fall to 11.7% since the UP government’s recall of Maggi packs.

Nestle India said it has not received any order from central or state authorities for recall of Maggi noodles.

Strong winds of change are blowing at the Capital's airport terminals. The Union government wants all passenger flights to operate from Terminal 3 (T3) of the Delhi airport. Currently, both domestic and international flights operate from T3 and 1D is Delhi's solely domestic terminal.
With a view to cutting down on passenger fares, transit time and fuel consumption, the Ministry of Civil Aviation has asked the Delhi airport operator to come up with a concrete plan for synchronising all operations of passenger aircraft at T3.
Mail Today has accessed the ministry's letter to the operator, Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL). The aviation ministry has sought an urgent meeting on Thursday with DIAL and other agencies concerned, and also asked the operator to explore the possibility of making 1D a full-fledged cargo terminal.


"The Delhi International Airport Limited will come out with a concrete action plan for decongestion of Terminal 1D with the possibility of making it a full-fledged cargo terminal and synchronising all operations of passenger aircraft from Terminal 3," UK Bhatia, under-secretary in the ministry of civil aviation, wrote to DIAL on Monday.
The ministry believes that the passengers will have to pay less if the plan is executed. "Several airlines have complained to Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA), the aviation regulator, about fuel wastage. The shifting will mean aircraft will not have to travel hundreds of metres just to reach the taxiing bay. Also, airlines can save on rent and maintenance charges. For transit passengers too, this plan will come as a boon as they would not be forced to travel to Terminal 1D to board domestic flights," a ministry official told Mail Today.
"Aircraft fuel consumption in Delhi is much higher than at other airports as the aircraft need to travel a lot after landing and before taking off. Also, if somebody has come to Delhi from Dubai on board an Air India flight and wants to go to Patna by Indigo airlines, s/he has to use a bus or taxi to travel from T3 to T1D. If all passenger operations are clubbed together at T3, it will be a great help for the 1 lakh passengers travelling daily from the Delhi airport," the official added.
A number of airlines, including Indigo and SpiceJet, have been asking the government to shift all passenger operations to Terminal 3. The airlines have also offered various incentives to implement the proposal, including a possible reduction in air fares, said sources.
But DIAL is not very keen on this plan because various projects related to Terminal 1D, including connecting runways to Terminal 1D via an elevated taxiway, are already in the pipeline.
"The Delhi airport already has four cargo terminals. They are working perfectly. This plan will add burden to the agencies involved in the airport's operation.
Ultimately, it will burden passengers because the cost of operations at the airport will go up. Projects worth crores of rupees directly related to Terminal 1D are already lined up. Also, this terminal was renovated as early as in December last year," sources at the airport said. The Delhi International Airport Limited authorities refused to speak to MAIL TODAY on the issue. Work is on in full swing on a first-of-its-kind elevated taxiway for aircraft connecting runway number 11/29 with the parking bay situated near Terminal 1D.
At this "eastern cross taxiway", two main roads will intersect connecting T3 with the city and two tunnels will be built to enable the smooth movement of traffic, airport officials said. This project will help aircraft reduce fuel consumption by almost 30 per cent and save passengers' time too.

NEW DELHI: Captain Gautam Gambhir's 49-ball 60 led Kolkata Knight Riders to a convincing six-wicket victory against Delhi Daredevils in their IPL encounter at the Feroz Shah Kotla on Monday.

The first woman bus driver in India's capital Delhi has told BBC Hindi that her priority is to ensure the safety of her female passengers.
Vankadarath Saritha, 30, received messages of support from passengers on her first day in the job - but also had to deal with malfunctioning doors.
Her appointment comes at a time of growing public anger about harassment of women on public transport in Delhi.
Officials hope the move will inspire other women to drive as a career.
Some Indian states have had women bus drivers for years, but this is the first time the capital has hired a woman to drive a Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) bus.
Ms Saritha, who has worked as a private chauffeur, took the wheel of bus number 543 accompanied by much public interest, reports BBC Hindi's Indu Pandey.
Passengers seemed happy to see a woman bus driver - many came forward to take a good look at her, while others started taking her photos on their mobile phone cameras, our correspondent says.
Before getting down, some of the passengers called out: "Thank you, madam."

But day one was not without its hitches.
Shortly after Ms Saritha set out, the doors developed a snag and would not shut or open properly. Two technicians then responded to her call to fix the problem and the bus resumed its journey soon after.

Ms Saritha, who is from the southern state of Telangana, said she took up driving to support her family.
"We are five sisters. I first learnt to drive an auto rickshaw and then drove a van for a college, before driving a bus."
Now, she says, she intends to help her family with her salary and buy gold ear-rings for herself.
"Having a woman driver will help improve the image of our service," DTC official RS Minhas said. "We had received seven to eight applications and we hired Saritha. Now we will advertise again and hire more women drivers."
Transport services in Delhi have been deemed unsafe in recent years after a 23-year-old student was fatally gang-raped on a bus in Delhi in December 2012.
And a driver from the web-based taxi firm Uber is on trial for raping a female passenger last December. He has pleaded not guilty.
Women-only carriages are provided on trains and metro services in Delhi in an attempt to improve safety and comfort for passengers.

NEW DELHI: The sight of driverless Delhi Metro trains whizzing past stations, crowded and deserted, is all set to become a reality as upgraded new-generation coaches are being introduced on two upcoming lines as part of its Phase-III of expansion.

Apart from "unattended" trains, the 58-km-long Mukundpur- Shiv Vihar corridor and the 34-km-long Janakpuri (West)- Botanical Garden corridors will also have a new-age signalling system.

"The frequency of trains would increase to a much greater level and the gaps between two trains would come down to around 90 seconds due to this Communication-Based Train Control (CTBC) technology," a Metro spokesman said.

An official explained that these trains would be able to accommodate as many as 240 commuters more in six coaches as the cab of the trains is not required in driverless trains.

A total of 68 stations on the upcoming lines would also have Platform Screen Doors for greater safety and to prevent suicide attempts.

"More than 60 per cent work is complete on those lines" an official added.

Asked whether the technology would be implemented on the other upcoming lines of Phase-III, the official said that would not be possible as they are merely extensions of existing lines.

"The technology is being implemented on Line 7 and 8 as the entire lengths of the corridors are being constructed," the official said.

The trains would also be "10 per cent" more energy efficient than the operational ones because of improved design features, including more regeneration of energy during braking and energy efficient subsystems such as LED lighting.

A 31-year-old doctor at AIIMS allegedly committed suicide by slitting her wrist with a sharp-edged object after her husband started mentally torturing her after she learnt that he was actually gay. Failed marriage, breach of trust and hiding of the sexual orientation by her husband forced Priya Vedi to commit suicide in a hotel room in central Delhi's Paharganj locality.

Her body was recovered by a police team from her room, police said. Before taking the extreme step, Priya Vedi, a senior anaesthetist at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) here, wrote a note on her Facebook account and also left a suicide note alleging that her husband was gay and he used to torture her.

Priya Vedi's husband Kamal Vedi, 34, a dermatologist at AIIMS, was arrested later on Sunday on the basis of the suicide note. Police said that Priya's husband had filed a missing complaint on Saturday evening when he failed to contact her on her mobile since morning.

"After Priya's missing report, we had launched a man-hunt. It was alleged that she could be hiding near Nabi Karim area in central Delhi," Deputy Commissioner of Police Parmaditya said.
Police said that the couple got married five years ago and since then they were staying in AIIMS staff quarters in south Delhi. Police got the information about Priya Vedi's death during search operation of several hotels in Paharganj.
"Officials broke open the door and found her lying in a pool of blood on the bed, after they failed to get friendly entry inside Priya's room by knocking at the door," a police official privy to investigation said. "She had slit her writs with a sharp-edged weapon and was lying in unconscious condition. She was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors declared her brought dead," said the official.

The police team also found a suicide note from her possession in which she had mentioned her sour marital status which led to her committing suicide. "She had mentioned about her husband's sexual orientation in her note. She had written that since she got to know about her husband's bisexuality, he used to torture her and harass her for dowry.

"We are investigating the case from all angles and based on the suicide note we have arrested Kamal from his residence at AIIMS quarters in the afternoon. He has been booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code," Parmaditya said. Priya Vedi's latest post on Facebook specifically mentioned that her husband was gay.

"Dr Kamal Vedi, I never wanted anything from you but due to your abnormal sexuality you thought that I need sex from you. But it's wrong. I just wanted to be with you, accepting you and your sexual orientation because I loved you very much but you never knew importance of this. You are a criminal of my life. Dr Kamal's family is innocent but you are a devil," her last message on Facebook read.

NEW DELHI: For the second day in a row, a man committed suicide by jumping in front of a Metro train. The incident was reported around 12.45pm on Thursday at Nawada Metro station. The deceased was identified as Qadir (20), who was staying with his uncle in Mansaram Park in Uttam Nagar, west Delhi. His parents live in Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh. This is the sixth suicide inside a Metro station this year.

NEW DELHI: The body of a four-year-old boy, who had gone missing from his house in east Delhi's Geeta Colony on Wednesday, was found dumped in a gunny bag at an abandoned plot on Thursday.

Police suspect the child was sodomized and then drowned.

The incident came to light when the child, out playing, did not return home. His family started looking for him in the neighbouring areas and lodged a missing report at Geeta Colony Police Station.

His body was recovered from an apartment near Pushta Road on Thursday morning. Sources said that CCTV footage of the area show a man dragging a gunny bag and dumping it in the abandoned plot. The bag was left behind a van. When the van left the place, a shopkeeper noticed the bag. On closer inspection, he saw the child's head protruding out of the gunny bag. Locals informed police about the body.

The parents were called to recognize the body after which it was sent for post-mortem. The parents had received no ransom call.

According to police, there were no injury marks on the body. The child's clothes were wet indicating that he could have been drowned to death in a water tub, sources said.

Sources also say that it is possible that the boy was sodomized. The post-mortem reports are awaited.

टक्कर के बाद पहले तो बाइक सवार शाहनवाज से कार सवार युवकों की कहासुनी हुई. कहासुनी इतनी बढ़ गई की आई-20 कार सवार युवकों ने शाहनवाज की पिटाई करना शुरू कर दी. शाहनवाज को नजदीक के अस्पताल ले जाया गया, जहां डॉक्टरों ने उसे मृत घोषित कर दिया.

1. Lack of public bins - Let's accept that India just doesn't have enough public bins. So most end up throwing on roadsides.

2. Overflowing public bins - Because of (1), whichever public bins are there are overflowing.

3. Underpaid Understaffed cleaning department - Even if you throw only at bins, there's no one to dispose this waste. People who are working are played less, there's human scavenging.

4. No accountability - If the cleaning department isn't working well, due to plain incompetence, the public can do nothing about it

5. Pathetic Waste disposal - At the end all the waste, whether thrown in house bins, public bins or at roadsides, has to be disposed somewhere! You can't just disappear it. Due to lack of disposal facilities the waste keeps getting accumulated as a small hill making the nearby localities UN-livable.
